Finding Rest

With the pressure of Finals Week pressing down on me a lot of anxiousness starts to build up. I am a little scatterbrained when trying to work on assignments, almost constantly thinking about something else while trying to work. It is easy for me to stress about things I need to get done and when I could get around to doing them. Yet when I become filled with anxiousness, I remember two verses, Philippians 4:6-7 from my life passage.

Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." No matter the stress or problems in our life despite whether we can handle them or not, we can always ask for help from the one who can. The one who carried his own cross after being, whipped close to death, and later was nailed to that cross. Yet death did not prevail, and our Lord rose again. Compared to that, some of the burdens we carry are minute, and still Christ is willing to share our burden. You can find rest with the One Above All, all you need to do is ask.
