How to prepare for our online-only Christmas Eve service

Church family,

I'd like to invite you to a special, online-only Christmas Eve service this week that I hope will be a memorable one. You'll see many familiar faces - some you may not have seen in quite a while - and sing along with some favorite Christmas songs.

There are two ways to prepare for this service:

  1. Grab a candle and a lighter. We've progressed in our Advent candle lighting each week, and on Christmas Eve we will light the fifth and final candle - the Christ candle. I'd like you to designate a candle in your home as your household's Christ candle and light it during the service.

  2. Pray for Pastor Luke. Each year we commit to praying for and blessing a neighboring pastor, and during this service we'll be hearing from Ark City Nazarene pastor Luke Wise. As I pray over him during the service, please join me in lifting up Pastor Luke, his life, ministry and family to the Lord.

The service will go live on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. and will remain available to view throughout the week of Christmas. You can watch online at and May your Christmas season be blessed with the hope, peace, joy and love of Christ, and may the Lord bless you and keep you as we enter a new year!

Merry Christmas,

Pastor Billy Byler
