REV. Joel Wilson
Lead Pastor

Pastor Joel became the Lead Pastor in March 2025. He is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene and responded to God's call to ministry in August 2016. He is married to his lovely wife, Cindy, who works as a Registered Nurse at Ascension St Francis. God has graciously given them three children: Timothy, Titus, and Theo. In April 2022, Joel completed his Masters of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary. 

 

Empowered by the gifts and abilities God has given him, Joel is dedicated to unveiling everyone's true identity through the teachings of Jesus in their hearts and minds. His overarching mission is to guide them towards embodying the principles and values exemplified by Christ Jesus.

REV. Michael McDonald
Executive Pastor

Pastor Mike was born in Wisconsin, raised in California, and now calls Kansas home. He holds degrees in Biblical Studies (Nazarene Bible College), Master of Divinity (Fuller Seminary), and a Master of Science Degree in Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy (Texas A&M–Central Texas). Ordained in the Church of the Nazarene since 1999, Mike has served churches in Southern California and as an Army chaplain across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. He retired after 25 years of active-duty service, most recently as Command Chaplain of the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia.

 

Mike serves on the board of the Union Rescue Mission in Wichita and continues to serve and support the Kansas District whenever needed. He and his wife Yolanda have been married for over 35 years and cherish their children and grandchildren. His life and ministry are guided by Peter’s words: “…at Your word, I will…” (Luke 5:5).
