A temporary move to online-only worship this Sunday

Hello, church family!

We have seen frigid temperatures and plenty of ice and snow this week, and it appears that even more are on the way this weekend. The National Weather Service is warning of dangerously low wind chills Sunday morning along with a chance for more snow. With this in mind, we have decided to keep our doors closed this weekend and move to an online-only format for our worship service on Sunday, Feb. 14.

So we invite you to stay home, bundle up and join us online through our website or Facebook page Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We will also continue with our online Sunday School at 9 a.m. through Zoom.

Our next opportunity to gather in person will be Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m. for our annual Ash Wednesday service. This is such a unique and special worship service that will launch us into the season of Lent and our journey to Easter.

I’m thankful for the ways we can stay connected during these crazy times. We’re asking everyone to check in at each Sunday to let us know how we can pray for you and how God has blessed you over the past week. Thanks again for your understanding. Stay warm, stay healthy and stay in God’s presence this week!

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

Pastor Billy Byler
